# Picture windows

A picture window does not open, and that is the point. With no sash hardware in the way, it is all glass: the most light, the widest view, and the tightest seal of any window style.

What it is

## All glass, all view.

Because a picture window is fixed, it has no moving parts to leak air, so it is extremely energy-efficient and lets in the most light of any style. We often pair one with operable windows on either side, so you get the big view in the middle and airflow at the edges.

Best for: Living rooms and feature walls where the view and the light matter most.
