Double-hung windows
The most popular window we install, and for good reason. Both sashes slide, both tilt in so you can clean them from inside, and they suit almost any St. Louis home from a brick four-family to a postwar ranch.
The window that fits everything.
A double-hung window has two sashes that both move, so you can open the top, the bottom, or both for airflow. The sashes tilt in to clean, which matters a lot more than people expect when the window is on a second story. It is the default for a reason, and we install it in vinyl and brand-name lines that seal tight and last.
Best for: Most homes across St. Louis. The versatile, all-around replacement window.
The details that decide the difference.
Both sashes open and tilt
Open the top for ventilation without losing security, and tilt both sashes in to clean the glass from inside the house.
Fits the St. Louis housing stock
From historic brick to ranch and bungalow, the double-hung suits the proportions of most homes in our area.
Energy-efficient and sealed
Insulated frames and tight weatherstripping keep conditioned air in and the weather out, all four seasons.
“We just had 20 Andersen windows installed by these folks. They did AWESOME! All done in 3 days! The install looks amazing. Better yet, they were super clean; they spread covers inside and out.”
